To ensure geometric integration of Electric Powertrain system designs in new vehicle development projects and engineering change processes in existing products. To develop new ideas by participating in benchmarking studies and Design work shops with the component/area of responsibility. To support engineering in defining manufacturability, producibility, and assembly of design using industry standard parts and products. To be responsible for Initial Concept Packaging cum integrating the drivetrain into Vehicle Layout & Perform Technical Feasibility Study (Design Proposals) studies between various design disciplines like Mechanical & Electrical Systems interfaces with standards for functional design clearances between the moving and static parts of the vehicle. To be responsible for making CAD model through Surface and Solid modelling, Sheet metal, 2d drawing creation (Part / Sub-assembly / Assembly), update and design release in PLM. To be r esponsible for doing Benchmarking of Global products and D-FMEA preparation along with CFT. To create technical sign-off and interface documents with CFT's and supplier components. To review design and ensure the quality of release process To c reate Engineering Workflow for the various EPT assembly parts with BOM, Torque chart and sequences of the assembly & Perform GD&T stack analysis with interface components. To be responsible Proto development of the parts and DVP&R To address the field failure issues and closure with RCA (8D)
