Senior / Lead Python Engineer - Daily Rate Contract - Hybrid-Working Model - Roles x2 - Excellent Daily Rates**Successful Candidates must be based in Ireland**Stelfox have partnered with a global fintech organisation looking for Senior / Lead Python Engineer x2 to join their team to work on existing and greenfield projects. The Senior /Lead Python Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing web-based Python solutions to help solve complex business problems involving multiple components. You will work closely with business users, business analysts and development colleagues to build best in class risk management solutions.Working as part of global teams, the company leverages a wide range of technologies. They work in an Agile fashion and are always striving to improve their processes, putting a big emphasis on researching new technologies. This is a great opportunity for the right developer to accelerate their career within a rapidly expanding team.This client offers 6 month rolling / long term contracts and contractors must be based in Ireland for the duration of the contract. This role is hybrid with 3 days per week onsite.Required:

Strong proficiently in Python programming language, including its syntax, data structures, and object-oriented concepts.
Experience with Python frameworks (SQLAlchemy, Django, Flask, Bottle)
Familiarity in Integrating services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)) and REST API
Good relational database/SQL experience e.g., PostgreSQL and MySQL or SQL Server
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
Knowledge of JavaScript
Proficiency in working in Agile project management environment.
Experience in performance optimisation techniques including profiling, caching and code refactoring.
Solid understanding of Software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing and end-to-end testing.

Preferred:

Solid Linux/UNIX experience
Familiarity with testing framework for Python Application such as Selenium or Pytest.

Knowledge of the React framework is a plus.
Building and deploying Microservices in Python
