Monaghan.The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, to include employee and contractor scheduling and the execution of corrective work and preventative maintenance. This role works closely with other manufacturing departments to help meet production goals, minimize equipment downtime, support process improvements, and enhance the performance of company equipment in a safe manner.This successful company is part of a worldwide group with a long history of manufacturing in Co. Monaghan. Recognised as a specialist and a world leader, the group creates, manufactures and markets innovative, design-led and eco-responsible products. Although well-established across the globe, they are continuously developing activities in new markets.Requirements:Must hold an Engineering degree or relevant equivalent plus manufacturing experience.Sound technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.A good communicator and people leader.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Manage and lead the team of fitters, electricians and contractors to ensure plant building, equipment and machinery in optimum condition to support production and meet company targets.Support / coach / upskill team members being comfortable with a 'hands-on' approach.Organise and schedule required maintenance and plan around various events.Implement a Lean manufacturing approach.Spare parts inventory management.Propose and implement cost saving initiatives and aim to drive productivity with an eye to continuous improvement and working to World Class Manufacturing principles.Assist with Capex projects.Forecasting and working within budgets.Enjoy problem solving, with the confidence to propose new ideas and work closely with the Production, Quality, R&D and Engineering departments plus others when required.Full role description available on enquiry.If you have the relevant qualifications and experience and are interested in this position, please apply now and Ciara who is based in our Northeast office will be in contact if you are suitable.If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, please feel free to contact us directly.
