- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Quality Manager to develop and execute strategic plans for the Production Unit, driving alignment and collaboration across key systems.
- Drive Lean initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, while optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving efficiencies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in Finance, Human Resources, Quality, and Production Planning to optimize departmental performance, champion effective employee relations, and foster communication.
- Determine staffing levels, schedules, and resource allocation, fostering cross-functional team relationships and resolving technical issues.
- Establish clear accountabilities for direct reports, motivating and developing staff through personal development and lifelong learning.
- Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets, allocating resources to optimize customer service targets, inventory levels, and procurement costs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department, encouraging risk-taking and innovation.
- Ensure departmental adherence to regulatory and GMP requirements, promoting quality and customer satisfaction in all activities.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with best practices and procedures.
- Utilize available tools and resources to meet customer production needs based on sales forecasts.
- Drive functional excellence initiatives, delivering high-quality functional outcomes.
- Collaborate with EHS to identify and address significant environmental impacts of operations, establishing goals and targets for environmental sustainability.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on communication, relationship building, coaching, and development.
- Strong operational excellence and lean thinking, with a systems mindset.
- Expertise in change management, particularly in cultural transformation.

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Engineering field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8/10+ years of experience in operations environments, with experience in polymer processing (extrusions, injection over-molding, balloon-forming) advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership roles.
