Location: DublinSalary: €75,000+Reference: LMF1773This acclaimed Irish hotel group includes some of Ireland's finest properties. They now seek a Cluster Sales Manager to be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales activities, attracting a diverse range of guests, maximizing revenue and fostering lasting relationships with clients and partners.Key responsibilities:
  • Building, managing and maintaining relationships with local companies.
  • Negotiating rate agreements on a local level only.
  • Assisting with RFPs as necessary.
  • Seeking out and attracting corporate group business.
  • Assist the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing in building and managing relationships with DMCs and key local providers.
  • Assist the CDOSM in building and managing relationships with key tour operators.
  • Creating sales strategy for meeting & events in some properties.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience as Sales Manager within the Dublin hotel market with a proven track record of success in corporate sales. You will demonstrate keen sales ability and strong business acumen with the ability to identify emerging opportunities, analyse market conditions, and create compelling campaigns that differentiate from competitors.Further candidate attributes include:
  • Confident negotiation / persuasion skills with proven ability to close a sale.
  • Experienced cold caller able to “knock on doors” to get business.
  • Skilled researcher - online and offline - relating to business required, market trends and sourcing new customers.
  • Strong customer development and relationship management skills.
  • Good knowledge of overall hotel operations.
  • Financial management skills e.g. P&L statements, manage operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling.
  • Strong communication (verbal, listening, writing) and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and leadership skills.
  • Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems.
