From policy advisory and employee relations management to recruitment oversight and HR systems maintenance, you'll play a vital role in supporting the team's expertise.Please note: This is a readvertisement and previous applicants need not applyHR Generalist Responsibilities:
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Provide HR support to Managers and team members on HR policies, procedures and contractual issues to ensure compliance with legislation and consistency across the organisation.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to support the achievement of our talent acquisition plans nationwide.
  • Support employee relations and internal communications activities.
  • Alignment and implementation of policies and procedures across the organisation
  • Implementation and maintenance of the HR system across the organisation
  • Extraction and analysis of data from the HR system as required, e.g. payroll reports, attendance reports, trend and KPI reports etc.
  • Undertake projects relating to a range of HR disciplines as assigned by the Director of Human Resources
  • Assist in the design and delivery of internal training and development of managers and supervisors.
  • Represent HR at interdepartmental meetings and meetings as required.
  • General administration duties relating to the HR function.
  • Liaise with payroll as required on any staff pay items linked to recruitment, internal promotions, leavers etc.
  • Produce accurate and professional correspondence, policy documents etc. as required.
  • Maintain HR record systems to ensure all employment requirements are met.

The role will vary, depending on the needs of the service.Person SpecificationEssentialLevel 8 Degree in Business, Human Resources or related subjectMinimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced and varied HR roleExcellent knowledge of Irish employment legislationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.DesirableHold current CIPD membership and qualificationExperience of working in the care sectorExperience in the use of HRISProficient in MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint portals, Dynamics 365.Proficient in documentation and record-keeping, with attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and work under pressureStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsJob Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 12 months
