- Engineering Services Lead is responsible and accountable for delivering high performance black utility equipment and maintaining a best-in-class compliant facility to meet the stringent demands of a modern Biologics and Medical Device manufacturing facility.
- Preparation and accuracy of utility maintenance expense and capital budgets for Financial Plan, LBE (Latest Best Estimate) and LRP (Long Range Plan)
- Maintenance of live tracking database of all committed expenditure to ensure accuracy of budget status for Financial LBE's (Latest Best Estimate)
- Design, Maintenance and Delivery of the Electrical, Mechanical, Security, Fire Protection, Building Regulation, Environmental and Alarm Site Strategic Plans to ensure optimal performance of site operations
- Foster a culture of Engineering Excellence in Utility and Facility management.
- Identification of Key Metrics, creation of Dashboard for monthly reporting, set meaningful and relevant targets
- Thorough incident investigation and delivery of CAPA's on time.
- Support site in product, process and equipment validation where required.
- Implement Maintenance Excellence Programme, including Reliability Engineering, within department areas of responsibilities, driving continuous improvement and achieving all relevant KPI's.
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building, internal and external.
- Selection, approval, coordination, continual monitoring and assessment of all external utility and facility contractors
- Ensure contractor compliance with all relevant legislative and company requirements/procedures
- Responsible for ensuring energy life cycle analysis is considered for equipment LRP.
- Responsible for optimum performance of the infrastructure supporting the sites EPA License
- B. Eng (L8) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent
- 5 - 7 years industry experience with 2-3 years in pharmaceutical/medical device
- 2+ years experience in a management/leadership role
- Experience in a cGMP environment is essential.
