As one of the first lines to our patients, our PCAs are vital to this initiative as they continue to provide clinical care, health promotion, and support in our GP Practices. We are now looking for an approachable, committed, and professionally qualified PCA who would like to join our team. We are seeking someone who can demonstrate courteous, sincere, and sensitive patient service, whilst also committing to quality and excellent patient care in the practice.Specific Job Details:Location: As soon as possibleContract: Permanent, Full-TimeWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per weekWork Pattern: (Monday – Friday)Salary: CompetitiveBenefits of working with Centric Health:· Pension: The Company will match a 5% employee contribution every month.· Access to our Employee Assistance Programme to speak to an independent trusted· advisor regarding any personal issues or challenges.· Sick Leave: Upon completion of your probation, the Company will pay a basic salary totalling a maximum of 2 weeks of your contracted hours.· GP Visits: All Centric employees plus immediate family are eligible for discounted GP visits, in our Centric Health Practices.· Indemnity: Indemnity is covered under the Company’s policy.Role Summary:To provide clinical assistance to the nursing and doctor teamsKey Roles & Responsibilities:· Phlebotomy· 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring· ECG· Consumable ordering· Clinical Waste Management· Assisting the medical staff with patient carePosition Requirements:· Must hold recognised qualification in phlebotomy and be proficient in this area· Must hold recognised qualifications in clinical skills as outlined in roles and responsibilities· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills· Computer literate· Commitment to courteous, sincere, and sensitive patient service· Commitment to quality and excellent patient care in the practice· Excellent organisational skills· Flexibility· Ability to work well within a team and to liaise with nurse and doctorCentric Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce
