- Collaborate with key business stakeholders and HR colleagues to understand the business strategy and ideal candidate profiles.
- Support strategic talent acquisition projects as our business grows and expands.
- Work with the HR Director to build and communicate a strong employer brand.
- Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to understand their resourcing needs, develop a candidate pipeline and fill vacancies as required.
- Guide the hiring managers through the recruitment process providing support at all stages where needed.
- Manage communications between applicants, hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Recommend creative and alternative advertising strategies and tools and explore potential new talent channels.
- Proactively source candidates, maintaining a pipeline and database of qualified candidates to meet the requirements of our growing business.
- Develop a recruitment plan for each campaign, with significant focus on the use of online platforms such as Indeed, Linked in etc.
- Review applications from both internal and external candidates, evaluate qualifications, conduct pre-screen interviews to assess candidate experience and fit, present fully screened qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews, sitting in where required.
- Support the hiring manager with the selection decision, providing candidate feedback where appropriate.
- Complete reference checks and lead the offer process with candidates.
- Ensure there is continued and meaningful engagement with new hires between offer and start date.
- Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective, high-quality services are provided.
- Collect and analyse recruitment data highlighting key trends and learnings.
- Regularly represent the organisation at career fairs and conferences to promote the organisation and grow the candidate pool.
- Involvement in ad hoc HR projects as they arise, providing support to HR during busier periods in a generalist capacity
- Degree in Business / HR or equivalent.
- Ideally 3 years experience in a talent acquisition role with experience of graduate recruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with hiring managers.
- Demonstrated ability to be professional, calm, flexible, resilient, solution oriented, and creative.
- Excellent oral and written communication and representational skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Pride in delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work to and meet targets and deadlines.
