- Maintain automation equipment to ensure consistent quality, output, and yield.
- Utilize systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including documentation.
- Lead and implement process improvements while adhering to change management and cGMP requirements.
- Assist in the commissioning of new equipment/projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order replenishments as needed.
- Cross-train technicians as required.
- Support new equipment buy-offs/training, potentially involving travel.
- Uphold company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards in all practices and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing GMP training events.
- Proficient in systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to devise innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Strong adherence to change management procedures and cGMP requirements.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Commitment to high levels of safety awareness.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
- Minimum Level 6, Level 7, or Level 8 HETAC qualification in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical/Automation Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Industrial experience or qualified trades personnel may also be considered.
- Prior experience in high-volume automation/robotics.
- Preferably experience in a healthcare medical device manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Pneumatics, Electronics, Hydraulics, Programmable Controllers, Servo Motor drives, Vision systems, Ultrasonic welding, and workshop machining.
- Understanding of Process Capability and MSA or GR&R.
- Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement projects within a medical device environment.
- Familiarity with FAT, SAT, IOPQ of automated assembly lines.
