- Provide daily management and support to the team, including motivation, individual meetings, conflict resolution, and managing leaves.
- Ensure adherence to established work methodologies in collaboration with the CTO and VP of Engineering, including Daily, Retro, and Demo meetings.
- Foster team cohesion and morale through animation and team-building activities.
- Manage the recruitment process, including liaison with headhunters, tracking candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Organize and plan the team’s roadmap to align with the company’s overall roadmap.
- Collaborate with other Technical Managers on cross-functional tasks.
- Oversee tasks assigned to internal or external teams, including outsourcing and subcontracting.
- Monitor team performance, including velocity, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
- Provide regular progress reports to the VP, highlighting any roadblocks or schedule changes.
- Ensure the quality of team deliverables and maintain proper documentation.
- Manage on-call periods and potential on-site interventions as necessary.
- Monitor Level 2 Maintenance and Support requests within the team’s scope.
- Occasionally participate in sales activities such as workshops, exhibitions, and prospect meetings.
- Be prepared for international travel and maintain proficiency in business English for client and partner interactions.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and partners via telephone and email
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BAC +3 / +5) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management.
- Prior experience leading cross-functional development teams, preferably in Frontend, Backend, or System development.
- Strong preference for experience in DevOps leadership or senior developer roles.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complex human and technical situations.
- Demonstrated autonomy, proactivity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of web environments including Symfony, PHP, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) and cloud environments (AWS).
- Proficient in English, with a CEFR C1 / TOEFL iBT 95 level or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry is advantageous.
- Prior experience with connectivity providers or satellite suppliers is a plus.
