- Take responsibility for the management and development of the cleaning service line on the contract
- Support the development of direct report to ensure they are capable of being successful in their roles
- Grow and evolve the contract
- Work with and support our client's Facilities Department and team members in the day-to-day service delivery
- Maximize contract profitability and minimise contract losses through the delivery of a consistently high standard of customer service which meets the contract specification
- Communicate effectively with the client, Bidvest Noonan team on a daily basis
- Ensure staff retention and motivation and develop team members
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of internal management information and client reports
- To be accountable for the development of employees by identifying training needs and utilising resources provided by the company to progress their skills and knowledge
- To ensure compliance with all company's HR policies and procedures across the contract
- To actively encourage and promote team spirit and development
- To recognize the potential for growth within the contract and for new business
- To participate and represent the company at client meetings, monthly management meetings and ensure that all tasks set are completed within the designated timescale
- To be accountable for the implementation and adherence to all Company Health and Safety policies, procedures and instructions and to confirm their effectiveness through planned Health & Safety audits and regular reviews
- Ensure the contract is operating to and exceeding the required specification and performance
- Ensure business sector is fully compliant with Industry Standards, relevant employment legislation and Company procedures & policies
- Endorse new Company initiatives and ensure they are implemented on site
- Demonstrable experience of Operational Management in Facilities Management with a high level of customer service focus
- Experience operating across a large multi-building site preferable
- Qualification to Degree standard in a relevant discipline is preferable, but not essential
- Demonstrable experience of Client Relationship and Engagement Management
- This role will require a certain flexibility to working hours, and availability to respond to out of hours emergencies
- Demonstrable experience of delivering deadlines & budgets, business process awareness
- Proven people management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent knowledge in office applications in particular Excel / Word / PowerPoint
