The CompanyMidWest Fire and Security specialises in the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems and solar installations. Their head office is in Galway and the company operates nationwide. They are a customer focused organisation dedicated to providing the highest level of support to their customers. All staff are fully trained in the installation servicing and maintenance of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control systems and Solar systems.The RoleDue to ongoing expansion, the Company are seeking a Solar Energy Salesperson to join the existing team. This is a long-term career opportunity for a competent candidate with the required skills, attitude, and experience. Full training on our products and our sales process will be provided.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Engage with new and existing customers & showcase our outstanding Quality and Customer Service.
  • Represent our company's products and services.
  • Generate sales leads and cold call potential customers and follow-up with leads and enquiries provided by the office.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling.
  • Provide solutions tailored to our customer's needs by conducting the survey with the client and Coordinate with Solar PV engineer to identify the most optimal and cost-efficient solar systems and represent same to the client (residential/commercial).
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring.
  • Develop relationships with industry specialists such as architects, developers, engineers, and other key industry representatives.
  • Contribute toward developing, implementing, and improving the sales process.
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy for your region with Management.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of proven sales/business development experience
  • Confident, Assertive with Strong Communication Skills.
  • Solar PV & battery storage experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Understanding of energy efficiency in the home & associated products.
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
  • Sales experience and a proven track record.
  • B2C sales experience.
  • Problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • You must hold a full clean Irish driving license.
  • Technical knowledge.
  • Personal integrity.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Flexible & Reliable.
