Global is growing fast, with ambitious plans for the future.To achieve our future vision, We're looking for an energetic ”roving reporter” to make their mark on this newly created role to develop and execute innovative content strategies that excite and delight homeowners and grow brand engagement, demand generation and thought leadership across our social & digital channels. This new role - Digital Content Creator - which will report directly to the Customer Experience & Marketing Manager at Global.The successful candidate will work with Marketing to lead content creation on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter & TikTok. You will be responsible for capturing & editing video content and dynamic photography that engages, entertains, and inspires our audience. You will showcase Global's POV and push the boundaries on delivering world-class quality content that inspires and educates customers and prospects.‌This is an exciting role, predominantly based “on the road” and requires significant travel across Dublin and surrounding counties. Act as a 'roving reporter' for Global Home Improvements, to develop and execute content strategies with the objective of growing overall engagement and thought leadership across social media
Capture high-quality video and imagery on location - aspirational and on brand
Create snappy short-form edits by editing existing footage that enables us to jump on trending content, songs and filters
Create content pieces with a particular focus on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Reels and Live spaces to include customer testimonials, live events, interviews etc
Capture 'behind the scenes' footage in a fun and authentic manner
Create or collaborate on punchy captions to accompany video and imagery
Contribute innovative ideas that bring the Global brand to life across social & digital channels
Keep your finger on the pulse of trends and assist with interpreting insights into content consumption
Assist on relevant digital & social marketing projects as required

The Right Person

A recent graduate within the field of TV / Video Production, Digital Media, or Journalism
Experience with content production including mobile video production & editing techniques - experience using video cameras a plus
A relationship builder with excellent communication skills and fluent in both written and spoken English
Technical knowledge and practical experience of self-shooting and editing under both set brief and 'on the fly'
Passionate about social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Tik Tok. Knowledge/interest in digital best practice, algorithm changes, content optimisation an advantage
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects while working predominantly on the road
Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
An interest in/flair for interior design/architecture is a bonus
