Financial Controller – Property – Dublin City CentreThe CompanyOur client is a long-established, Irish owned business with a strong commercial property portfolio. They are seeking to strengthen their management team with an experienced finance professional to drive future growth and manage existing relationships with current tenants.The Position:This role will be varied and is a mix of commercial and operational duties during a turbulent time in the sector. The role will report to senior stakeholders in the business and work with the operations team to generate new business whilst managing the existing relationships and manage all property associated costs within the group. Some of the duties will include:

All aspects of management of rent, rates and service charge for a large number of properties
Managing rental income
Budgeting and forecasting
Internal reporting
Reviewing costs against budget
Acquisition and disposals of property
Capital Expenditure management to develop existing and new units
Preparation and evaluation of proposals to develop the business

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in the Property Sector and will gain a unique insight into the operations of a very successful Irish business.The person:The role is high volume and fast-paced and the successful candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:

Qualified accountant with experience in property management
Good technical financial accounting skills
Ability to work in a small finance team
Excellent excel skills
Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
The ability to work within tight deadlines, pay close attention to detail and ensure quality in output.
A well-motivated team player with a strong ability to work on own initiative.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Working knowledge of financial systems
