HQ in Germany with Irish base in Co. Louth, this role will offer great exposure working with the latest equipment and technologies in a variety of industry settings such as a range of manufacturing, medical device, pharma, food & beverage etc.The successful Service Technician will have a solid background and skill set within electrical and mechanical and familiar with software, automation experience is a bonus. The position will carry out maintenance across the island of Ireland, their base is in Co. Louth but due to the nature of the role applicants can be based outside of this area but within a commutable distance to the base a few days of the week or when required.Requirements:Hold a technical engineering qualification.3+ years working experience within maintenance in an engineering or manufacturing environment with an aptitude in mechanical, electrical and software systems (product specific training will be given).A willingness to constantly learn new technologies and processes.Working knowledge of MS Office.Good people skills and excellent communication so as comfortable speaking to customers.Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.Be results oriented, have a positive outlook with a focus and pride for delivering high-quality work.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Support the product range in terms of mechanical, electrical and software systems through servicing, maintenance, breakdown support and applications development.Visit customer sites as and when required.Commission and test applications in the workshop and at customer sites.Develop robot applications in isolation and as part of a wider project involving other disciplines.Support the sales and proposals department.As a company representative, uphold our high-quality standards and service levels.If you have the relevant qualifications and experience and are interested in this position, please apply now and Ciara who is based in our Northeast office will be in contact if you are suitable.If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, please feel free to contact us directly.
