Senior 3D Animators

• Work closely with the Animation Supervisor(s) and Lead Animator(s) to create high-quality, story-driven Animation based on the production style and overall show expectations.
• Follow the structured keyframe animation workflow used by Giant for each stage of blocking, plus, and polish.
• Have a clear understanding of the performance, style, quality, continuity, and technical of the animation.
• Help the Leadership team as needed to build cycles and a library for the department.
• Set the standard and example for the show, by animating the more difficult shots and consistently producing high-quality animation.
• Be able to consistently meet deadlines within the schedule.
• Maintain an open and professional demeanour when providing or taking directions, undertaking revisions, and altering approaches as required.
• Support a collaborative and creative environment that produces awesome Giant projects with great teams.
• Help other team members by mentoring and giving feedback.
• Perform other tasks as the project requires.

• 4+ years of 3D animation experience in a production.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Maya.
• Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and can deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team, and take feedback and direction.
• Strong Leadership skills and the ability to support a diverse team.
• Strong organisational skills and a good eye for detail.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Mel and Python Scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Strong grasp of appeal and visual communication skills.
• Solid understanding of ShotGrid/FPT and other Technical resources/tools.
