Purpose of this PositionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team, focusing on our hedge fund and private equity transfer agency software system. As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our software solutions, ensuring they meet the complex needs of our clients in the financial industry.Job Functions:Performance Fees and Waterfall Models:

Expertise: You should have a deep understanding of performance fees and waterfall models commonly used in hedge funds and private equity.
Design and Optimisation: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, optimise, and implement performance fee structures within our software system.
Calculation Accuracy:Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of performance fees, considering various scenarios and fund structures.

Complex Fee Models:

Experience: You must have hands-on experience working with complex fee models for investment funds.
Customisation: Customise fee structures based on fund-specific requirements, including management fees, carried interest, hurdle rates, and other fee components.
Adaptability: Adapt to changing industry regulations and market dynamics to enhance fee models.

Scrum Team Management:

Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional Scrum teams responsible for delivering enhancements, bug fixes, and new features.
Prioritisation: Prioritise backlog items, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality software releases.

Client-Focused Solutions:

Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their pain points, gather feedback, and translate it into actionable product requirements.
User-Centric Design: Advocate for user-centric design principles, ensuring our software meets usability and efficiency standards.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the product based on user feedback and market trends.

Technical Acumen:

Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of the technical aspects of our software system.
Bridge the Gap: Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, collaborating with development teams.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager/ or senior operational role in financial services, specifically within hedge funds, private equity, or transfer agency.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions.
Certification in Agile/Scrum is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Hold a valid EU work visa
