Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Technical Officer or Senior Technical Officer within UCD School of Veterinary Medicine.Ref. no. 017276The School of Veterinary Medicine is a vibrant teaching and research-intensive School located in the centre of the University campus. It is the highest ranked school by subject within UCD delivering world class Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing programs. The Veterinary Biosciences section delivers pre-clinical teaching across a range of subjects including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology, Embryology and Pharmacology supporting both Veterinary Medicine and Nursing programs. It comprises of 26 staff (including 14 academics and 6 TO staff) and has a major research focus that includes areas such as drug delivery, infectious disease, animal nutrition, reproduction, and equine medicine.The role of the Technical Officer is to provide technical, administrative (as appropriate), training and teaching support to the Veterinary Biosciences Section in the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine.95 Technical Officer\2013 (7915) Salary Scale: €44,845 - € 58,933 per annum95 Snr Technical Officer\2013 (7916) Salary Scale: €52,990 - € 70,804 per annumAppointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelinesClosing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 16th of May 2025.Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
