No matter what sector or region, no matter how big or small the issue, our clients can rely on Insight HR to manage their HR function, develop HR strategy, and restore harmony in their workplaces.Insight HR is seeking an exceptional candidate with a background in employee relations, law, or previous experience as a workplace investigator to join our dedicated Workplace Investigations team. As a Workplace Investigator, you will collaborate with the team to deliver robust investigations and reports that can withstand external scrutiny.Your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, including conducting investigations into various workplace issues such as bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, fraud, theft, whistleblowing, and misconduct. Additionally, you will hear grievances and appeals, ensuring fair and transparent processes are upheld.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, fraud, theft, whistleblowing, misconduct, grievances, and appeals.
  • Conduct investigative interviews with employees, witnesses and relevant stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
  • Engage effectively with all parties involved in the investigation process, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Analyse evidence and documentation.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and client internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A relevant third-level qualification in law, employee relations, or HR.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience, with solid experience in workplace investigations, employee relations, law, or HR.
  • An excellent and up-to-date working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and the industrial relations landscape in Ireland.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to recognise and set aside personal biases, see different perspectives, and conduct investigations objectively.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Report writing forms a key part of the role, and it is essential that reports are clear, simple, unambiguous, and well-structured.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple investigations effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully within ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with the challenges inherent in the role.
  • Valid driving licence and access to own transportation required.
