- Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, fraud, theft, whistleblowing, misconduct, grievances, and appeals.
- Conduct investigative interviews with employees, witnesses and relevant stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
- Engage effectively with all parties involved in the investigation process, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity.
- Analyse evidence and documentation.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and client internal policies and procedures.
- A relevant third-level qualification in law, employee relations, or HR.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience, with solid experience in workplace investigations, employee relations, law, or HR.
- An excellent and up-to-date working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and the industrial relations landscape in Ireland.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- The ability to recognise and set aside personal biases, see different perspectives, and conduct investigations objectively.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Report writing forms a key part of the role, and it is essential that reports are clear, simple, unambiguous, and well-structured.
- Self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple investigations effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully within ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.
- Resilience and the ability to cope with the challenges inherent in the role.
- Valid driving licence and access to own transportation required.
