Globe LocumsWe have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Anatomical Pathology Technician to join our busy mortuary service.We are looking for a professional self-motivated individual with proven experience of working in a busy mortuary setting. You will have excellent communication skills be a team player and have an ability to demonstrate empathy towards bereaved relatives. You will hold an RSPH Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology (level 4 equivalent) or have demonstrable equivalent experience.You must be able to perform as part of a team but equally able to work unsupervised.The duties required are :-

Undertake post-mortem duties including high risk PM's

Support bereaved relatives with viewings and identification of deceased patients
Receipt and release of deceased patients
Participation in out of hours on call rotas is essential
