Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their expressed goalsJob Title:Assistant horticulture InstructorPermanent, 14 hoursLocation:Horizon Business Park, Ballybrit Business Park, Ballybrit,Job Purpose:The Assistant Horticulture Instructor shall be responsible for the training and development of all learners on their programme in accordance with the agreed training programme specification (TPS), together with the day-to-day maintenance of all aspects of the programme.Minimum Education & Experience required:

Third level qualification
A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum
A number of years relevant occupational experience of working with Learners in educational, guidance and/or developmental contexts
Experience in QQI certification and accreditation processes

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, with responsibility for the instruction of a number of modules for QQI Level 4 General Learning to help Learners achieve certification
Ensure that instructional & assessment methods, lesson plans and materials used suit programme content and learner needs.
Meet the key performance indicators of the contract in relation to learner progression and achievement of certification targets.
Source and support Learners to obtain work experience placements and instil by example and direct training, proper work attitudes and work behaviours.
