- Coordinate and attend board meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and ensuring timely distribution of relevant documentation.
- Manage a varied client portfolio, handling legal, company secretarial compliance, and administrative tasks with precision and professionalism.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations, advising management on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new clients, adhering to stringent procedures.
- Oversee a range of corporate transactions including incorporations, restructurings, voluntary strike offs, liquidations, and restorations.
- Prepare and file necessary notifications with regulatory bodies such as the CRO, RBO, and CBI, always ensuring compliance.
- Conduct thorough legal and non-legal research on behalf of clients and colleagues, providing valuable insights and support.
- Qualified Chartered Secretary (ICSA) essential
- Min 2 years proven experience in a company secretarial role, preferably within a regulated environment.
- Sound knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with regulated funds is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, always demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
