Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Assistant Reservations Manager will be responsible for maximising hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by receiving, handling and processing guest reservations under the direction of the Reservations Manager.Responsibilities: * Supervise the reservations team in handling all aspects of room bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries and reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Monitor room availability and update reservation systems to maximize occupancy and revenue, utilizing yield management techniques.
- Implement pricing strategies to optimize room rates based on occupancy levels, demand trends, and competitive analysis.
- Lead and motivate the reservations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales initiatives and promotions to drive room bookings and revenue growth.
- Conduct regular audits of reservation data and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance with hotel policies, and adherence to service standards.
- Prepare regular reports on reservation performance, including occupancy rates, booking trends, and revenue analysis, to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
