Meeting & Events Porter - Clayton Hotel Cork CityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting & Events Porter in the Clayton Hotel Cork CityObjective of the RoleReporting to the Operations Manager; Meeting & Events Porters, are individuals who make sure, that Meeting & Events and Food & Beverage areas are kept functioning at all times.Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • To offer the highest level of guest service in all Meeting & Events and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
  • To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being flexible with working hours.
  • To constantly liaise with other departments to ensure all guest requests are attended to efficiently.
  • To ensure that the M&E areas have safe working practices and that all spillages etc are tended to without delay.
  • To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your departments standard operating procedures, particularly room set ups and maintain meeting rooms as required
  • To assist organisers with the movement of luggage and equipment.
  • To ensure all cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with customers
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a strong team player
