Level 8 Qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar discipline with 0-2 years of experience. Candidates pursuing a Level 8 Qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar discipline and within 2 years of qualification will be considered.
Able to work well in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Systematic troubleshooting skills.
Good data analysis skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
CAD experience desirable.

Responsibilities of Position:

Lead or assist with the design, buy off, installation and validation of automation production lines.
Provides support to other Manufacturing Engineers on process characterization / optimization (DFMEA’s, PFMEA’s, DOE’s etc.)
Lead or support in systematic technical root cause investigations.
Deliver improvements in key operational metrics, including cost, scrap, OEE, productivity.
Constantly seeks to improve work processes; Has a quality-first mentality; Learns from internal and external best practices to apply to her/his work
Supports all company Lean Manufacturing principles
Supports all company quality programs and initiatives.
Timeliness in addressing Quality System Requirements.
Principles of data integrity must be strictly adhered to.
All activities to be performed in strict accordance with the Quality Management System.
Support production line ramp to achieve mature production targets.
Travel as required to support equipment buy-offs and/or training at vendor/customer sites.
