- Maintain client satisfaction and effective security provisions, creating and delivering operational plans to ensure all security requirements are delivered
- Lead and manage the security teams at your location of responsibility daily, the role will entail the management of Security Team Leaders, Security Officers in a warehousing environment
- Investigate stock losses and where appropriate provide timely, effective, and achievable remedial advice
- Investigate all reported serious incidents of crime, malpractice, or procedural breaches, providing comprehensive and timely written reports to management or external authorities to enable successful disciplinary action or criminal prosecution
- Ensure KPI targets are achieved, and records are kept up to date
- Provide line management responsibility to Team Leaders & security officers including all aspects of disciplinary, grievance and welfare
- Ensure all security officers have been trained to the required standard and conduct
- 1+ years' experience managing a team in a security capacity (warehouse experience preferred but not essential)
- A full UK Drivers License and access to own vehicle to enable the LPM to travel between sites
- A valid SIA security licence - Door Supervision/Security Guarding
- Experience in conducting dishonesty investigations
- An excellent understanding of CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems
- Knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE), GDPR, and The Theft Act.
