Bakery ManagerExcel Recruitment are delighted to announce we are seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to join our client, an award-winning retailer in Cavan.This role is an amazing opportunity for a Senior Baker or Pastry Chef who can take charge and lead the bakery team. As Bakery Manager you will have the chance to lead a skilled team and step up into a senior management role, working in concert with the owner. You will be working as a Scratch Baker creating high-quality baked goods and confectionery with a morning shift starting at 5am.Salary: €38k-€40kThe Ideal Bakery Manager will:

Ensure the department runs efficiently and all products reach our high-quality expectation
Have excellent customer service/ conflict resolution skills
Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Have a constant drive to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Have a creative streak and aid in the development of new products

Requirements of Bakery Manager:

2-3 years experience as a pastry chef or baker is essential
In-depth knowledge of food safety procedures
Ability to work in a team
Good work ethic and initiative
Must follow food safety guidelines
Experience in ordering for bakery and managing waste within a fresh food area
Responsible for maintaining records
Minimise shrink and maintain low waste margins
