Tipperary, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to become an integral part of our highly skilled nursing team. You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement individualised treatment plans, ensuring the highest standard of care for patients with psychiatric disorders.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and developing individualised care plans.
Administering medication and monitoring its effectiveness and side effects.
Providing therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families.
Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment options.

About you:

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Six (6) months experience working in a psychiatric setting.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Quick learner that can adapt to their environment with a can-do attitude.
Fluent level of English.
