- Prepare, validate, and present monthly management accounts.
- Support in the preparation of the weekly and monthly board reporting.
- Ensure company accounts are up to date and complete, and take full
- Maximize revenue recognition including oversight of invoicing process.
- Ongoing management of Irish payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance with
- Assist CFO in forecast updates.
- Produce summary and detailed reports on financial performance vs budget
- Prepare, present, and file all necessary regulatory and legal returns.
- Research opportunities to optimize efficient tax compliance.
- Assist external accounting firm in all matters relating to audit and tax compliance.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place throughout the organization.
- Drive initiatives to automate, simplify and optimize business processes.
- Lead customer and supplier/contractor initiatives to improve DSO and DPO days.
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the teams to ensure any issues are resolved promptly
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with minimum 3+ years PQE.
- Proven experience managing a finance function with international stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Xero preferred.
- Start-up/scale up experience preferred, or strong experience in setting up new finance processes, and in managing the organisational change.
- Ability to work autonomously on own initiative.
- Excellent communicator.
- Great attention to detail, with strength in analysing and presenting financial data.
- Strong commercial awareness, with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors.
