- Prepare bookkeeping records, including sales, purchases, and bank reconciliations.
- Payroll administration
- Coordinate and communicate with internal staff members.
- Prepare, submit, and ensure tax compliance for VAT, PAYE, and subcontractor (RCT) returns.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with clients.
- Handle general office administration and maintain records.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Possess a strong passion for pursuing a career as an Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician
- Awareness of the Irish Tax system
- Prior practice experience is advantageous, but training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Essential skills include excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with accounting and payroll systems (such as Sage and Thesaurus) and Office packages (including Word and Excel) would be desirable.
- Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- A team player but also capable of working independently when necessary.
