As they continue to expand their operations, we are assisting them in seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Project Engineer Consultant to join their dynamic team.Position Overview: As a Civil Project Engineer Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects while ensuring adherence to design standards, regulations, and project timelines. You will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions that align with our client’s commitment to excellence.Responsibilities: * Project Management: Lead and manage civil engineering projects of varying scales, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Coordinate project teams, allocate resources, and effectively manage project documentation.
  • Design and Analysis: Provide technical expertise in civil engineering design, encompassing site development, infrastructure, drainage, roads, and utilities. Utilize advanced software tools for modeling, analysis, and simulation to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Client Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and goals to develop tailored engineering solutions. Communicate project progress, address concerns, and provide professional recommendations to enhance project outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local and national regulations, codes, and standards related to civil engineering, including Euro codes. Ensure projects are designed and executed in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Problem Solving: Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome complex engineering issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical obstacles and ensure project success.
  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential project disruptions. Address unforeseen issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and progress updates. Prepare comprehensive reports for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering project management and design.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific software tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Euro codes and Irish construction regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
