Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Supervisor will be responsible for maximising hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by receiving, handling and processing guest reservations under the direction of the Reservations Manager.Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in Maintain all pricing within the Reservations System and third-party distribution channels.
- Attend Weekly Rates Meeting with General Manager in the absence of the Reservations Manager
- Attend Monthly Sales and Marketing Meeting in the absence of the Reservations manager
- Assist Reservations Manager in implementing pricing policies for all current pricing and packages.
- To ensure all emails, telephone call and all guests requests are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
- To maintain all individual and group enquiries follow-up and deal with all related administration including all Group Blocks from all contracts, timely wash and effective Group inventory management.
- Monthly Website Revenue Reports in the absence of the Reservations Manager
- To Assist Reservations Manager with Create New Packages on Net Affinity on a monthly basis
- To Assist Reservations Manager with Maintaining and creating Tariff Codes to ensure all departments receive their allocations
- To Assist Reservations manager with maintaining all Online and OTA Business
- Work closely with Wedding Planner and Events Co-Ordinator
- Manage the Reservations team to meet and exceed budgeted targets.
- Develop the Reservations team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent guest and customer service
- Ensuring all email traffic is monitored and reservations appropriately recorded and checked - dates, price, market segmentation, sources etc.
- Manage no-show and cancelled reservations and process charges according to hotel policy
