Our client has a leading business operating in the protein sector.The successful individual will have the following:

Relevant 3rd level qualification and / or relevant industry experience.
A working knowledge of BRC standards, HACCP, Food Legislation is advantageous.
The candidate will receive both mentoring and suitable training to assist in the role

Reporting primarily to the Quality Manager, duties of the role include:

Conduct regular internal audits of the Quality and ERP System and identify process improvements.
Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly Quality reports.
Ensure adherence Quality Assurance program
Complete customer paperwork requests.
Complete supplier approvals in accordance with quality procedures.
Investigate customer complaints in a timely manner.
Manage product specifications.
Complete quality and process checks of trade contracts.
Champion a quality and continuous improvement culture.
Travel to both suppliers and clients from time to time.
