The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role within the finance team, responsible for a broad range of activities including financial and management reporting, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.
This position reports directly to the Finance Manager and is perfect for someone seeking to advance their career in financial management.Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
- Management of inter-company transactions and regulatory reporting to external bodies.
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with FRS102 and IFRS.
- Development and oversight of annual operating budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordination of internal and external audit processes.
- Provision of financial analysis and support to various management teams across the business.
- Involvement in strategic projects, including finance system implementations and process improvements.

- Must be a fully qualified accountant with significant experience in financial reporting and management accounting.
- Previous experience in the financial services or banking sector is highly advantageous.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with major financial systems; experience with Infor SunSystems is a plus.
