- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies that aligned with the company's overall business objectives and target markets
- Lead a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to drive exceptional performance and achieve sourcing goals
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring their capabilities align with the company's quality, cost, and sustainability requirements
- Foster strong relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to monitor quality, delivery, and compliance with established standards
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the sourcing process
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise sourcing processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve cost savings without compromising product quality
- Monitor and analyse key sourcing metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 8-10 years of Hardline Sourcing experience, preferably with experience in both sourcing and trading offices
- Proven track record of successfully managing sourcing operations and achieving cost savings while maintaining product quality and supplier relationships
- In-depth knowledge of global sourcing practices, supplier selection, negotiation strategies, and supply chain management principles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sourcing team
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed sourcing decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and international teams
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
