Company DescriptionOur client is inviting an experienced candidate to join as Human Resources Manager overseeing and managing the payroll process within the organization.This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with local laws and regulations, and maintaining confidentiality of employee information.The candidate will also handle various C&B-related projects (survey, policy and job grading review).Responsibilities
  • Report to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with the Finance team, you will be supported by a team with 2 subordinates to handle the company payroll for 600 full-time and contract employees.
  • Ensure the process, calculation, and administer payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Gatekeeper to maintain employee payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure accurate employee record, such as new hires, terminations, and changes to employee status.
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including salary changes, benefits deductions, MPF and bonuses.
  • Regular review in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll records to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good in written and spoken English. strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
