LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE AUDIT SPECIALIST / MANAGER (JAPANESE SPEAKING)Responsibilities:
  • Legal and Compliance Audits:
  • Establish and lead the legal and compliance audit department.
  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, such as ISO and JSOX, and ensure timely completion.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents:
  • Draft and review agreements, contracts, company policies, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure legal documents are accurate, compliant, and protect the organization's interests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate and finalize contractual agreements.
  • Legal Advice and Support:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to business units on legal and compliance matters.
  • Advise on regulatory issues, contracting matters, and other legal concerns.
  • Support management decision making by offering legal perspectives and recommendations.
  • Coordination and Liaison:
  • Correspond with internal and external stakeholders during audits and legal matters.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external lawyers and professional advisers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal and compliance requirements.
  • Ad-Hoc Assignments:
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as required to support legal and compliance initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry practices, regulations, and market trends.’
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal and compliance role.
  • Hands-on experience in the legal and audit field, preferably in the electronics/trading industry.
  • In-house relevant working experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong law and market practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese typing.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese language skills.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2 or above) is a must.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Mandarin is a strong advantage.
