- Collaborate with Backend Lead and other teammates to define and develop backend services and APIs to support new features and further enhancements
- Create technical specifications and participating in technical design with Java in a multi-threaded environment
- Work closely with Product Team and translate the business requirements into technical solutions with modern tech stack
- Involve in performing quality control and monitoring such as integration, testing, and prepare technical documentation
- Share the knowledge and enthusiasm of software engineering techniques with the rest of the team
- 4 years of experience in Java backend development with an understanding of microservices and integration patterns
- Solid experience in Java 8 or above, Spring Boot, SQL and NoSQL etc.
- Experience in deploying applications to any of cloud platforms
- Previous experience in Redis/PostgreSQL is a plus
- Previous experience in AWS and building CI/CD pipeline with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to pick up new technologies
- Good interpersonal skills and happy to work in a multinational environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English is preferred, Chinese speaking is a plus
- Understanding/Interest in Fintech/Banking products such as financial exchange, cards or e-wallets, etc.
