- Formulate, plan, implement and monitor acquisition, development & divestment strategies
- Source and identify suitable local real estate investment opportunities
- Evaluate and structure real estate deals
- Liaise with government on process and application for use of land/ property
- Conduct financial analyses and feasibility studies entailing cash-flow analysis and yield projections
- Prepare recommendation report to senior management
- Plan, implement and monitor acquisition, development & divestment strategies and activities
- Lead the negotiation process
- Liaise with different parties to work out how to maximize the profit
- Work alongside with the Property Manager to ensure that the property business plans are executed diligently
- Develop good working relationship with hotel hubs and GMs to analyze, monitor and maximize value of asset
- Monitor budget and expenditure of assets, review capital expenditure plans and long term strategies.
- Analyze current asset performance and development plans and strategies for enhancement
- Plan, implement and monitor turnaround or asset plans for properties requiring major catch-ups
- Carry out feasibility studies, produce proposal/reports on acquisition, turnaround, refurbishment of assets.
- Possess vast network and good relations with business owners, government officials.
- Possess good presentation deliveries, negotiation skills and strong critical thinking.
- Ability to identify, resolve, mitigates issues and risks associated with projects.
- 10+ years of experience in asset/investment management and business development including leadership supervision of a team of asset managers.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale project initiatives to successful completion and implementation.
- Degree in Real Estate, Financial, Investment, Surveying or relevant discipline
- Experienced in working with Real Estate investment firms would be an advantage
- Professional in spoken and written English
- Approximate 50% traveling required
