- Develop a strategic communications direction and formulate an annual Corporate Communications plan in alignment with the company’s business plan
- Plan, organize, manage and implement corporate communications programs/events including seasonal promotion events and CSR initiatives, to cultivate positive sentiments and shape public perception of the Company
- Engage with media outlets, NGOs, District Councilors, Government Officials, and other key stakeholders in order to garner their support for the Company
- Develop compelling media angles and pitch stories to media outlets to cover corporate news, corporate events, staff stories and CSR efforts, with an aim to elevate the Company’s public image
- Plan and organize media events, such as luncheons, interviews and press conferences
- Craft accurate corporate messages for factsheets, boilerplates, LTT, speeches and other copywriting materials
- Handle complaints, issues and crisis situations in accordance with the Incident Management Plan.Take prompt follow-up actions to address concerns, ensuring clear and accurate communication to mitigate potential damage to the Company’s brand reputation
- Supervise and mentor subordinates, oversee daily operation, handle corporate communications projects, motivate the project vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes and accomplish the job assigned by the superior in a professional manner
- Degree or above in Corporate Communications / Marketing / Linguistics / Journalism / Public Relations, or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in media/community relations, complaint, issue and crisis management, of which 4 years should be at managerial level
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (both Cantonese & Putonghua) is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
