*Assist the Head of Department in the overall management and strategic direction of the Mathematics department.
*Mentor and support members of the Maths team, promoting continuous professional development.
*Contribute to the design and implementation of the curriculum that is both challenging and accommodating to diverse learning needs.
*Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective interventions.
*Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to A-level teaching.
*Engage actively in the school's assessment processes.
*Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
*Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.
*Experience in a leadership or a supervisory role within an educational setting is highly desirable.
*Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to analyse data effectively to improve educational outcomes.
