Due to business growth, and further expansion plans, company are currently seeking a seasoned Client Business Development Manager to join their team and spearhead the development of the retail sales channel, driving growth in existing markets while exploring new opportunities.Position Overview:As a Client Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the market presence and driving revenue growth through the development of the retail sales channel. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships, identifying and capitalising on new business prospects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for clients. With a focus on consultative selling and strategic account management, the candidate will leverage their industry expertise and sales acumen to achieve and exceed targets.Experience Required:- Previous experience working with retail sales channels, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and managing relationships with UK supermarkets and larger retailers.- Proven ability to leverage existing contacts and relationships within the retail sector to drive new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.- Possession of a robust book of contacts and existing relationships within the retail sales channel, supermarkets, facilitating immediate engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders.- Poultry industry background preferred, with experience in the meat or food industry considered (FMCG).- Minimum 3-5 years of proven success in a similar sales role, with expertise in Client's Business Development.- Demonstrated experience in consultative sales and high-value account management.- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.- Proficiency in using CRM systems, SAP, and Microsoft Office suite.- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- High level of emotional intelligence and understanding of client psychology.- Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.- Experience working in an international company (preferred advantage).Join TheTeam:If you are a driven sales professional with a passion for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the poultry industry, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
