Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Regional Account Manager, an ambassadorial role, to look after the interests of the members across the Midlands and the East of England. The minutia of the role includes:
- You are the go-to for the members across the Midlands and East of England for pertinent, unique and insightful support.
- Network and attend conferences, seminars and forums at Chief Executive level.
- You will be expected to grow membership numbers - Identify and recruit new members.
- Generate leads and raise awareness for the wider Make UK business services.
- Lead and organise lead generation events for members and non-member targets.
- Develop a member engagement plan, including site visits.
- Lead local member connect activities and regional meetings and webinars regionally and nationally.
- Engage in external communications through social media and traditional channels to promote member interests.
- Assist the Region Director in political and governmental stakeholder activities to promote manufacturing interests.
Our client is looking for a strong Account Manager with the following experience and attributes:
- Proven sales, account management and B2B skills are essential.
- Adept communicator, with some experience of public speaking and confident presentations skills.
- Events experience is desirable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work from a home base or office as required, with regular weekly travel.
- Full driving license with access to transport for site visits and meetings.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and Word
- Degree-level education or equivalent work-related experience
- Working knowledge of the local economy desirable
