Your Moment.”This application is the first step in seizing your moment.Advisors Plus: Data VisualizationPSCU Business Unit this internship directly impacts: Advisors Plus Consulting.Advisors Plus is the consulting arm of PSCU that advises clients on developing and deploying data-driven strategies that are designed to drive growth, profitability, efficiency and member experience. Our consultancy encompasses three distinct verticals that provide expertise in overall portfolio strategy, marketing and use of the portfolio of PSCU products and services that will meet and exceed our client’s goals and objectives.Consulting Data Visualization Internship Goals and ObjectivesThe purpose of this internship is to leverage various internal databases / datasets and analytical software tools to assist with our continued development of compelling client-facing data visualizations. This is key to support assessments of portfolio performance, outlining/quantifying opportunities for improvement and driving action in implementing client recommendations. A secondary objective is to dynamically enhance and automate internal scorecard metrics designed to measure our success and fuel proper business decisions. Other special projects involving data analytics and visualization for the business unit will likely be assigned.Data Visualization Internship Requirements may include, but not limited to:
  • Understanding and experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), databases and data modeling
  • Experience with MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word (or Apple / Google equivalents)
  • Basic programming and statistical knowledge
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Intellectually curious and willing to explore opportunities to learn and apply skills and technologies
Qualifications:PSCU Intern Program Entry Qualifications
  • Completion of sophomore or junior year in an accredited undergraduate degree program with a 3.0/4.0 GPA at the time of application.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate thoughts, communicate, completely, and concisely.
  • Strong, organizational, and detailed skills, with the ability to consistently perform business requests.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adjust easily when directions and priorities change on short notice.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite® with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
  • Passion for learning the Credit Union Industry.
