Job Title: Senior Manager Compliance Department: Human Resources Reporting to: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) - Business HR (All SBUs) Employment Status: Active Location: Barmer Position Purpose: The Senior Manager Compliance is responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to legal standards concerning statutory compliance, particularly labor laws, and internal policies. They will oversee and enforce labor regulations across all levels of the business, providing guidance on compliance matters to achieve the organizational goal of 100% compliance. Position Requirements: - Relevant degree with 8 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field. - Proficiency in reading and writing in the local language, Hindi, and English. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or address violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. 2. Provide accurate and clear information to team members in accordance with company policies and circulars. 3. Ensure contractors adhere to statutory obligations by conducting periodic audits to achieve better compliance scores. 4. Demonstrate strong knowledge of various labor laws, team management, contract, and business partner management. 5. Proactively evaluate concerns of business partner employees and provide management with appropriate solutions. 6. Handle various statutory committees and work groups, addressing grievances in consultation with the legal team. 7. Identify and improve welfare amenities for business partner employees to create a conducive work environment. 8. Raise awareness among employees and workforce regarding labor laws and associated benefits. 9. Plan and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at the workplace as needed. 10. Review procedures periodically and introduce innovative ideas to ensure 100% compliance with the law. 11. Establish and maintain cordial relations with statutory bodies such as EPFO, Labor Department, WC Commissioner, etc. 12. Foster positive relations with the local community to effectively address workgroup grievances. 13. Take responsibility for handling Time Office and Attendance Management systems for all locations. 14. Collaborate with the Access Control team to ensure efficient access control and attendance monitoring. 15. Preserve the company's integrity by ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. 16. Ensure no compliance issues go unattended, making the system fool-proof. 17. Maintain and submit all statutory registers, returns, reports, and payments to relevant authorities on time. 18. Ensure accurate completion of documentation in case of incidents under various applicable laws. 19. Handle cases under Industrial Dispute, PF, ESI, and other labor laws. 20. Possess expertise in email writing, communication skills, MS Office tools, and Attendance Management Applications. 21. Demonstrate liaison expertise, letter writing, and coordination skills with teams, business partners, government authorities, clients, etc. Skills and Competencies: - In-depth knowledge of labor laws, contracts, and compliance requirements. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office tools. - Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
