MOT Tester / Technician Vacancy - Leicester Fast-Fit Centre
  • Basic Salary: Up to £34,000 + Bonus
  • OTE: £40,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • 1 in 2 Saturdays (Day off in the week)

Our client is a successful and well-established Fast Fit Centre, they are actively looking for a MOT Tester / Technician to join their friendly and experienced team in Leicester.They're a national company, as a result they're able to provide you the training and progression you need for your career, they aim to improve your salary and skillset from day one.Responsibilities within this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines and company procedures.
  • Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including brakes, tyres, exhausts, and suspension repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet business goals and customer expectations.
Requirements as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
  • Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA License (Class 4 minimum).
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-fit or workshop environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to work.
