Credit ControllerPendragon Head Office - Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home 2 days per weekSalary of £23,873 with pension, critical illness pay, life assurance, 31 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales servicesDue to our ongoing growth and expansion, we are looking for talented individuals to join us in the role of Credit Controller.Based in our Finance Shared Service Centre, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that supports our nationwide network of retailers. With over 140 team members and a focus on continual growth and development, we’re dedicated to offering limitless opportunities for career development.As a Credit Controller, you’ll play an integral part in the Finance chain ensuring that outstanding debts are collected, and compliant with policies. You’ll be working physically from Head Office for three days per week, with the flexibility to work from home for two days per week.As a leading name in automotive retail, we’re dedicated to providing an incredible experience for our customers, both online and across our dealerships. We’re looking for someone to truly make an impact whilst fuelling our growth and driving our vision forward.You could have the opportunity to be involved with:
  • Prioritising and collecting debt, and contacting customers with overdue accounts on behalf of the businesses
  • Following credit control procedures to collect outstanding debts in accordance to policies for delinquent accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with credit policies, contractual frameworks and the associated core credit and debt recovery processes, to ensure cash inflow is maximised and bad debts are minimised
  • Performing credit checks for new customers to assess and mitigate the risks posed to the organisation
  • Maintaining, developing and enforcing credit arrangements and payment terms to maximise cash inflow
  • Opportunity to undertake an AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualifications
