Kitchen Assistant AK:CT:2032 (RO) Grade 2 SCP 1The Governors of Greenbank School wish to appoint a permanent part time Kitchen Assistant as soon as possible to join our school. This is for 16 hours per week -11.00a.m.- 2.00 p.m. daily.Actual salary £8,347 - term time only.Greenbank School is a purpose built school catering for 121 pupils, age 11 - 18 years. Students present with a range of learning difficulties: ASC and Complex Needs. Greenbank also has residential provision which is used as a short break educational facility for students who attend Greenbank School.The successful candidate will be someone who is able to show initiative to undertake their duties which involve basic preparation of food and beverages including simple cooking. Transporting and serving of meals. General cleaning of kitchen, surrounds and equipment. General kitchen and dining room duties e.g washing up, setting up and clearing away of equipment/tables.The candidate will form part of the catering team to ensure the food preparation for the students and efficiently functioning, of a safe and clean environment.Our school community places the highest priority on keeping children safe.
