Job Family: Operational Effectiveness Consulting, Strategy & Transformation ConsultingTravel Required: Up to 10%Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:As a strategy and transformation Consultant with Guidehouse you willl serve as a critical team member for consulting projects, from project initiation, through analysis, solutions development, implementation, and closeout; projects can span organizational development and transformation, strategic planning and implementation, business process improvement, risk management, and change management and strategic communications, as well as direct-mission support to federal health clientsSupport the end-to-end development of client work products and presentations, such as root cause and gap analysis, findings and recommendation reports, requirements documents, process flows, standard operating procedures, strategic plans, strategic communications, and reporting dashboardsProvide direct support to client senior leaders, including logistical support (coordinating and facilitating meetings), communications support (developing materials and drafting messaging), and volunteer coordination (managing recruitment and retention of volunteers for client-specific internal initiatives)Partner with clients to improve internal processes, standardize communications, support program tracking and evaluation, help increase coordination across the client organization, and establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholdersBuild and sustain meaningful relationships with clients and colleaguesContribute to positive, inclusive team culture and collaborative working environmentUnderstand and use firm capabilities, solutions, and methodologiesSupport internal and business development initiatives, such as communities of practice and proposalsWhat You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree1+ years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, organizational development, process improvement, workforce strategy, change management, communications, monitoring and evaluation, or emergency response and preparednessWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Change management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, process improvement, or project management certificationAbility to think strategically while delivering tactically, with a keen attention to detailAbility to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentExperience performing data analysis and using findings to recommend and implement improvementsExperience developing new and re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirementsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels in an organization; ability to develop visually appealing and impactful communication materialsDemonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as a team member, understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedbackExperience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry and technical matters, and utilizing problem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomesAdvanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPointProficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)During this interview you will complete a case study that will be presented verbally by the interviewer.
